Early Commemorative Coins was created to serve as a resource and guide for new and experienced coin collectors. Basic details and images are provided for each of the classic commemoratives released between the years 1892 to 1954.

Many of these coins feature designs by renowned artists and sculptors of their day and mark important anniversaries or figures in early American history. Assembling a complete collection of these gold and silver coins can be challenging, educational, and rewarding.

By type, the collection would include 58 different designs. If collecting by date and mint mark, the site becomes a more intensive endeavor with 152 different coins to collect.
